SLnayan Privacy Policy

Thank you for using SLnayan (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App. Please read it carefully before use.

1. Information We Collect

SLnayan is a companion app that connects your phone to a hardware device for live video preview, photo capture, and video recording. In general:

• We do not intentionally collect personal identity information (such as your name, ID number, contacts, or precise location) for analytics, marketing, or advertising.
• To provide core features, the App may access device capabilities such as Bluetooth, local network / Wi‑Fi, and Photos (to save images and videos), subject to your permission.
• Wi‑Fi SSID and password obtained via Bluetooth from the device are used only to help your phone join the device hotspot for streaming. This information is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

2. How Information Is Used

• Bluetooth: to discover and connect to a device named SLnayan and read the information needed to join its Wi‑Fi hotspot.
• Wi‑Fi / Local Network: to connect to the device hotspot and receive video stream data.
• Photos: to save photos and videos that you capture in the App to the system Photos library and/or the App’s local album folder.

3. Storage and Sharing

• Captured photos and videos are stored locally on your device (and in the system Photos library if you authorize saving).
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• We do not disclose your personal information except where required by law or necessary to protect users or public safety.

4. Permissions

You can manage App permissions at any time in your device Settings. Denying a permission may disable related features, but will not affect unrelated features.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us via the Support page so we can delete it.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page and becomes effective when published.
